The Story
Background, challenge, solution, and result.
Background / Vision
The principal architects envisioned a space where the boundaries between the bright white indoor spaces and the deep blue exterior vistas were completely blurred. The furniture needed to act as low-profile, organic extensions of the architecture itself.
Challenge
The outdoor and semi-outdoor pieces had to withstand extreme coastal winds, high salinity, and intense UV exposure, all while meeting a strict 90-day global delivery deadline before the peak European tourist season.
Solution
We utilized multi-layer marine-grade powder coating for all outdoor frames and sourced specialized Quick-Dry marine foam for the cushions. For the interiors, we customized our Lounge seating with a locally-sourced, breathable linen alternative. We coordinated dedicated chartered shipping to ensure on-time delivery directly to the island.
Result
A stunning, durable Mediterranean getaway that secured a 5-star rating for its interior aesthetics within its first month of opening. The project was completed and installed 1 week ahead of schedule.
